Hallways
- keep them clear and free of clutter to reduce risk of tripping

- install good lighting

- buy no-slip strips and place them in hallways with tile or wood

Bathrooms
- install grab bars/safety handrails next to the toilet and inside and outside the shower

- buy no-slip mats for the floors
